How to reach us by plane
Bologna airport
Bologna airport is only 50 km from Ferrara. You can take a taxi or bus to Bologna Station and then take the train to Ferrara.Or you can choose to travel by shuttle bus, which will take you directly to the square next to the Estense Castle (only 300 metres away).
Buses leave every 2 hours and take about 45 minutes depending on traffic.

Right in front of the main exit of the Ferrara train station there is a bus stop that will take you to the Bed & Bike in 10 minutes.You can choose between lines 1, 6, 9, the night bus 21 - the stop where you can get off is just 100 metres from us, in Corso della Giovecca - or line 3, which stops in Via Palestro on the corner with Via Filippo De Pisis. If you are travelling by your own means of transport, whether you are travelling on the motorway from the north or the south, we recommend the Ferrara Sud exit (A13).Once you have exited, follow the signs for the city centre and set your navigator to Via Filippo de Pisis 30.

Very nice rooms, well equipped, very clean and ideally located (there is also an ice cream shop across the street which is very good). We had a great 2 nights. Very attentive room staff. I have discovered a new electronic key entry system which is great!

To be picky: 1) Unfortunately there is no lift and the spiral staircase is not very convenient to do with a suitcase. 2) I would have appreciated the presence of a refrigerator in the room
Thanks Stefano for the nice review and high score. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and hope to be able to re-host you next time. He is right about fussiness, but unfortunately, being a structure from the 1930s, it is under protection and impossible to renovate in the stairs. As for the fridge, our mistake in not having reported that it was in the closet, forgive us and next time we will also find it with a bottle of wine from our area.
